Strong Taxation System is Panacea for Economic Revival of Pakistan

Despite having extraordinary resources in men and material since her independence till today why Pakistan is an struggling third world country? There are various reasons behind our current all sphere instability but the cornerstone is our lethargic financial position. The major reason behind our economic conundrum is our long inherited aid, grant and loan based financing. Due to our geo-strategic location United States of America and NATO countries started their support in forms of dollars. And then on we became dependent on foreign aids, grants and loans and never became self relying nation. And the said factors trapped us in the vicious circle of dependency and ever begging attitude. And our hence developed attitude is a big hurdle and hindrance in the way of becoming a self reliance and strong enough economy. This pampering policy of our the then western allies made dull our entire nation from top to toe. The unabated flow of foreign aid made our economy and begging and consuming economy. Now when the world order is changing rapidly we are no more important for our erstwhile friends. Hence we are facing a great challenge in economic front.  A pin-point map of our financial position is our budget for the financial year 2023-24: Total allocated budget was 14500 Billion Pakistani Rupees and our major expenditure components for the said period were: Defence Sector Expenditure- 4000 Billion, Pay & Pension of Govt: Employees 4000 Billion, Payment of Debts and Interest 4000 Billion and the rest of the 2500 Billion was available for entire Public Sector Development Projects (PSDPs). In brief the only way out is implementing a sound taxation system, specially wealth tax on the five percent richest people of the country. Otherwise there is no way out. This is a do or die situation for us. And it is said that "a hungry dog will eat dry puddings" hence it is a last opportunity with us to save our nation from any untoward situation is hidden in implementing a sound taxation system.
